This presentation shows how new students are assessed before they attend the first tutoring session in order to determine where to place him or her. A simple screening tool is shown. Specific aspects of the test are introduced and an explanation of test results is given. A staff member is shown assisting the tutor in developing a plan and in locating suitable materials. The video closes by showing follow-up evaluations designed to regularly track progress.
