The Governing Board of FLC, Inc.

Richard R. Harrington, President and Chairman of the Board
A tax attorney by trade, Mr. Harrington was a founding member of FLC, Inc. in 1994 and has been an active board president ever since. He began as a volunteer tutor and has since executed our charter and tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) charity and has been a spokesman in the community for the cause of literacy. He has contributed legal professional services as well as direct leadership to FLC, Inc. by keeping our focus on the enrichment of lives through family literacy.
N. Lee Crabb, Vice-President of Personnel
A retired teacher and public school district administrator, Mr. Crabb has been a volunteer for FLC, Inc. since its inception in 1994. He handles all personnel matters and his over forty years of professional eductional experience add wisdom and dimension to FLC, Inc. planning and decision making. His has been a steadying influence over the many phases of change and adaptation experienced by FLC, Inc. over the past several years.
Kim Bunker, Vice President of Finances
Kim is a local bank manager and has served on our board for the past four years. He is our financial advisor and tracks deposited funds to guarantee their safety and return on interest. He adds practical business sense to the organization and always has sound advice for the placement and disbursement of funds.
Hesther Rippy, Board Member
A retired insurance executive, Mrs. Rippy and her husband Bill have been supporters of Family Literacy for eight years and since Bill's passing two years ago, Hesther has continued to not only serve on our board, but has developed the most advanced Family Literacy Center in our organization. She has been honored by many organizations for her work in literacy, most recently by the governor of Utah and by many literacy organizations and providers. Her center in Lehi, Utah, has been a model for centers all over the country and has been a beacon in her community.
James Blaylock, Board Member
Mr Blaylock is a successful CPA by trade and has served on our board for the past three years. He is an advisor on accounting questions and concerns and adds a technological dimension to our growing responsibilities. He also adds a practical sense to decision making and brings the perspective of a seasoned businessman to our meetings. Both he and his wife have a great deal of experience in educational matters.
